JASON PRESTON REVISITS BASKETBALL CAREER IN NEW AT&T COMMERCIAL

Jason Preston, hailing from Orlando, Florida, struggled to find his feet as a basketball player in high school. At one point, Preston was averaging two points a game and had no college coaches after him.

Initially, Preston had plans to apply to college as a journalism major. But after posting a highlights video he had made to Twitter, Preston garnered significant interest.

“What does it take to change the story of a boy?” Preston asks in the AT&T commercial. “[A boy] who fell in love with the game, lost his mom at 16, had to sleep on his best friend’s couch, averaged just two points per game in high school.
