Lagos state pays 38 million naira in compensation over acquired lands.

The lagos state ministry of agriculture have reportedly pay the sum of 38 million naira as compensation to farm and crop owners over the acquiring of the land.

The compensation was extended to 15 traditional land owing families of Ladekin, Igbodu, and Molajoye all in Epe over the acquisition of 500 hectares of land in there community for the purpose of integrated Agricultural activities.

Mrs Abisola Olusanya who is the state commissioner for agriculture made the cheque presentations to representatives of the concerned communities over the weekend in Lagos, she explained that this acquisition  was part of the 5-Year Agricultural and Food Systems Roadmap which was recently launched.

She also state that by acquiring the lands,  she government is also moved for great infrastructure and use it for Agricultural purposes, so therefore creating jobs opportunities for individuals around the community.
