JUST IN: SERAP to sue Nigerian government over illegal suspension of twitter in Nigeria
The social-economic right and accountability project, just announced taking action and suing the Nigeria government over the illegal suspension of twitter in Nigeria.
Following the Nigeria government recent suspension of twitter in the country SERAP made a press release threatening to sue the Nigeria government.
According SERAP Nigerians have a right to freedom of expression and access to information including online, and we plan to fight to keep it that way.
The government has no justification to their action so we will see in court.
